What happens after you sign up

The short answers
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. Every approved company starts on Free: your balance is topped up to 5 credits at the start of every month, with one active job post. Choose a plan when you need more.
- When do I get a candidate's contact details?
- When they accept your introduction: you get their email, phone and LinkedIn, and a chat opens. Unlocking a profile shows their name, CV and career stories, plus the recruiter report on hiCalibre talent.
- What if they say no?
- Your credits come back automatically. The same happens if they don't answer within 14 days.
- Do I hire them directly?
- Yes. You make the offer and they join you on your own contract, as an employee or a contractor. hiCalibre isn't the employer and takes no fee when you hire.
- How long does the company check take?
- You can browse straight away. We check every company by hand before it can unlock anyone, usually within a day.
- Can recruitment agencies use hiCalibre?
- Yes. Agencies are checked by hand before they can unlock anyone, like every company.
- Are candidates exclusive to hiCalibre?
- No. Candidates are free to look elsewhere too, so move quickly when someone fits.
- What does a credit get me?
- 1 credit unlocks a Vetted profile, 3 unlock hiCalibre talent with the full recruiter report, and 5 unlock a Headhunt pick (Headhunt comes with Growth and Enterprise). If a candidate declines your introduction, or doesn't answer within 14 days, your credits come back.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Credits never expire, even if you cancel. Whatever you don't use this month rolls over to the next.
- What if I run out before the month is up?
- Buy extra credits from Billing at your plan's rate: €18 a credit on Starter, €15 a credit on Growth. They come in bundles of 5, 10 or 25.
- Can I change plans?
- Yes. Moving up happens straight away, and the bigger plan's credits land as soon as the difference is paid. Moving down happens when your plan renews.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. After that your credits are still yours to spend.
- Monthly or yearly?
- Same plan, same credits every month. Yearly is paid up front and costs 2 months less.
- Is VAT included?
- Prices exclude VAT. Stripe adds it at checkout based on your billing address and VAT number, and every payment comes with a proper invoice.
